Anita Rogers Gallery represents a diverse roster of emerging, mid career and posthumous artists whose work speaks to the contemporary landscape of the 20th and 21st centuries. The gallery, active in both primary and secondary markets, strives to cultivate the careers of exceptional painters and sculptors, both figurative and abstract, who have earned their place in the contemporary art market.
Anita Rogers, Gallery Owner and Director
Anita is the daughter of fine artist, Jack Martin Rogers; as a child, she travelled with her father for his work and was raised throughout Greece, Turkey, Italy, and England.
Elizabeth Thompson Kirkpatrick, New York Gallery Director
Elizabeth studied Art History and French Language at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She worked at an established SoHo gallery for five years prior to joining the Anita Rogers Gallery team in 2016.
Melanie Lauer, Gallery Assistant
Melanie studied Visual Arts and Art History at SUNY Purchase College. She previously worked for 3 years at a contemporary art gallery on the Lower East Side.
Anna Ballan, Gallery Assistant
Anna completed her undergraduate degree in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. She worked in literary journalism, publishing, and bookselling prior to entering the art world. She is a trained vocalist and amateur musician.
