What was your latest book discovery? What are your favorite books of all time?
Bodega by Su Hwang - a very raw collection of poetry by an up and coming West Coast poet.
I think my favorite reads are still Walker Percy (The Second Coming in particular) and Cormac McCarthy. I will always have a soft spot for Hunter S. Thompson and Bukowski as well.

I don't visit blogs or websites on a regular basis, I prefer apps over websites.
What apps do you use the most and why?
I am nearly ashamed of my Instagram addiction. After dismissing it for many years I have come to accept that social media is a big part of how people communicate these days. Although I will never be convinced that seeing a small picture of a painting will ever replace standing in front of that same painting I do like the instant access apps like Instagram provide an artist. Your work is literally being sent to the darkest corners of the world in seconds, it's a tremendous opportunity to share your vision with strangers.
